RMA Online Learning Management System

Sound Idea Digital produced three training videos for Rand Mutual Assurance, the administrator of choice for occupational injuries and diseases as well as for non-work related health and insurance benefits for the mining and other related industry sectors. 

The purpose of this system is to provide RMA staff and members with an online learning solution. A course may be compiled and uploaded to the Learning Management System (LMS) where each learner can do the course in his / her own time. This allows for flexibility and sensitivity to work flow.

After the learner has completed a course in the qualification, a brief assessment in the form of a test or quiz is conducted. The results are automatically recorded and complied into a data analysis sheet to monitor learner progress and development. The manager is able to assess if the learner is competent or not after completing the course. If the learner still requires additional training, this can easily be implemented in the LMS. Individual repots and group reports can be complied to measure performance or identify areas for improvement.

The LMS can be used to send out personalised emails to students containing their individual logins, as well as bulk emails or newsletters to all users or groups. The modules in the courses can be uploaded in the form of documents, videos, storyline files or by building an online course directly into the system.
